Shaf Shahjahan
Shaf Shahjahan is a highly experienced and accomplished technology executive with 18+ years of experience driving transformational change for clients and former employers. He brings to the table a long history of success leading high-visibility, large-scale initiatives for Fortune 500 companies including JP Morgan, CME Group, Capital One, OCC, and AbbVie.
Beginning his career as an Analyst at JP Morgan, he got his first break by identifying process improvement, automating his own work, then sharing those operational efficiencies with the team. These achievements led to his winning the organization’s All Star award, granted to the top 1% of performers company wide. After serving in the financial services industry for a few years, Shaf founded Vector Business Partners, an SEO and web development consulting firm, which he ran until rejoining JP Morgan in late 2011 as a Program & Project Manager and Agile Champion. There, he played an integral role in the organization’s Agile Center of Excellence, deepened his exposure to Agile principles and launched the next phase of his career as a leader and manager.
In 2014, Shaf joined Maven Wave, an IT consultancy with fewer than 100 employees and $20M in annual revenue. As Senior Principal, Shaf was instrumental in scaling the company’s largest accounts. Beginning his tenure at Maven Wave as a Manager, Shaf progressed from to Principal and later to Senior Principal, consistently assuming greater responsibility and authority; in part because of his significant contributions early on and as a trusted member of the senior leadership team, the company grew to more than 900 employees and over $200M in annual revenue by 2021. In addition to building tech partnerships with Google and AWS, Shaf was responsible for executing several large-scale transformations with key clients in the financial services and life sciences sectors. In addition to winning program execution awards at each of these companies, Shaf’s teams have earned acclaim at technology and industry conferences including AWS Re:Invent, Google Next, and Bio IT World.
Following that experience, Shaf served as Director & Head of Advisory Services at 66 Degrees, a Google premier transformation and innovation partner. In that capacity, he led a team of CIO/CTO/CDO advisory consultants in executing public cloud transformations, advised client executives on digital transformation and cloud best practices, and launched several strategic service offerings and digital solutions. Notably, Shaf also built out the firm’s advisory practice, identifying top talent to lead these cloud transformation engagements. Following 66 Degrees’ merger with Pandera Systems in late 2022, Shaf played a key role in integrating products, services, and teams.
Shaf launched MorphFactor.net to share expertise in and best practices around digital transformation, including cloud and digital product strategy, people enablement, innovation, and change management. With his passion for technology and his unique ability to inspire and motivate teams.
